Two Windows paths: the official launcher and Steam. There is no verified Steam Deck status, and there is no Mac build.
From the desk. Steam appdetails for app 4813850 was rechecked on 23 October 2026: free to play, released 19 October 2026, Windows supported, macOS and Linux unsupported. Its English-language client asks for 20 GB. Older launcher and FAQ figures are historical advice, not the current Steam requirement.
Requirements
Get Stella Sora on Steam or use the official Windows launcher download. Both are publisher channels; avoid mirrors offering modified clients.
Steam minimum: Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, Intel i3, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 750, DirectX 11, 20 GB. Recommended: Intel i5, 16 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1060, DirectX 11, 20 GB. The older official FAQ recommended 12 GB free. Reserve at least the current Steam requirement and allow extra headroom for updates.
Account and Deck
Steam login can be email, Google, Apple or Steam. Purchases on Steam use Steam Wallet. Prices are meant to match other platforms. JP, KR, CN and TW accounts cannot enter the Global Steam build.
Steam Deck compatibility was not marked on the store page I checked, and I have no hands-on Deck session. Status: unverified. Do not read this page as Deck Verified or Deck Unsupported.
