Is Stella Sora Worth Playing?
A Stella Sora review built from store scores and one media review. I am not adding a score of my own on top.
From the desk. I did not finish a Monolith and then invent a 9 out of 10. What I did was read Game8’s review beside the store APIs on 22 October 2026. Game8 scored it 76 out of 100, with story at 8 out of 10. They liked the look, the story and the bullet-pattern combat, and they warned that the gacha is expensive and that some text is rough. That matches the spread in the store scores below.
Scores, kept separate
Historical snapshot from 22 October 2026: Steam showed 186 reviews (171 positive, 15 negative), labeled Very Positive; Google Play showed 3.8 from about 22.6 thousand ratings and 1M+ downloads. These are dated observations, not live widgets. Apple was rechecked on 23 October: 3.32/5 from 765 US ratings. The platforms count different audiences and must not be averaged into one score.
The “why was it a failure” search is a question, not a finding. Mobile scores in the mid 3s and a Steam score that is positive are a mixed launch, not a closure. Revenue figures are not on this page because I do not have a licensed dataset. See revenue for what is missing.
