Stella Sora Pity and Rates
Stella Sora pity is two counters, not one. The 120-pull featured claim resets with the banner. The 160-pull hard pity carries inside the same pool type.
From the desk. The detailed Global rules below come from the Miraheze Recruit page. The Japanese launch guide is a separate regional source: it splits 4-star characters and 4-star discs into two 4% categories. It does not independently confirm an 8% Global character rate. Check your banner’s in-game Details before spending.
Trekker pool rates
Base 5-star rate is 2.000%. With pity included, the wiki puts the consolidated rate near 2.247%. When a 5-star appears, the featured Trekker is 50.000% and the other 5-stars share 50.000%. That is the real “50/50”. There is no rule that the next 5-star after a miss is guaranteed featured. The guarantee is the 160th pull.
The Global community wiki reports an 8.000% 4-star base rate and about 14.600% including the ten-pull guarantee. These are community figures, not rates verified from a current Global client. Do not confuse the combined 8% in the Japanese guide with an 8% character-only rate: that guide lists 4% characters and 4% discs separately.
One pull costs 300 Stellanite Dust. A ten-pull costs 3,000. Cerulean and Sprout tickets are the Trekker tickets; Gold and Silver Disc tickets are a different pool.
120 claim versus 160 hard pity
The Global community wiki describes the 160th pull as the featured-unit hard guarantee, not the pull after 160 unsuccessful results. The counter carries within the same banner type; Trekker and Disc counters are separate. Check the in-game Details for which current banners share a counter.
Separately, 120 pulls on the current banner let you claim that banner’s featured 5-star once. This counter is not the 160 counter. It resets when the banner ends and does not carry. If you qualified and did not claim, the wiki says the reward is mailed within 30 days.
Disc banners: 5-star rate 2.000%, featured share 75.000%, hard pity at 120. Do not mix that 120 with the Trekker claim. A light counter lives at the pity calculator. Banner dates are on banners.
Beginner pool
The beginner pool is ten-pulls only, capped at 200 pulls, and you can save five results and keep one. That rule is from the Recruit page. I have not re-checked whether version 2.0 changed the beginner pool, so confirm the cap in your client before you spend the last ten-pull.
Questions people ask
How does Stella Sora pity work?
Featured Trekkers are 50% of 5-stars. 160 pulls is the hard pity and carries inside the same pool type. 120 pulls claims the current featured unit once and does not carry.
Is there a 50/50 in Stella Sora?
Yes, in the sense that a 5-star is featured half the time. No, in the sense that a lost 50/50 does not force the next 5-star to be featured before 160.
Does the 120 pity carry to the next banner?
No. The 120-pull claim resets at the end of the banner. The 160-pull counter is the one that carries inside the same pool type.
